04/10/08 – The NCCSQA Executive Committee meeting voted to recognize CGIRB as a Platinum Corporate Sponsor for providing the facility for the NCCSQA program that took place on 03 April 2008.

04/07/08 – Alison Taber will join CGIRB as COO on April 7, 2008. Alison has over 15 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, clinical data management and study start up services. Alison comes to us from her most recent role as Executive Director, Global Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety and IVRS at INC Research. Alison replaces, Mary Ann Fallon who will be leaving CGIRB in May to spend more time with her family.

03/27/08 – Jessica Dyar, from IRB Services, was the latest staff member to receive her Certified IRB Professional (CIP) certification. This certification is achieved after a minimum of 2 years of IRB experience plus successfully passing a comprehensive test including questions regarding all aspects of human subject protection in FDA and OHRP regulated research. Jessica joins others including Patience Stevens, Megan Aiken and Dawn Pope, who have achieved this important milestone.
